I thought it might be useful to list wanted apps - as there are some I'd like from another OS but haven't yet found on droid. Maybe I'm searching incorrectly. This is where we can help each other!

I want:
A generic internet radio streaming application.

A graphic equaliser

Something which allows me to watch streamed TV (like KMPlayer on the N900)

Just quote and reply! Simples :D

An application like LukLuk that works. This app used to work on my HTC Magic and it streamed films and tv progs but alas it doesn't seem to be working amymore.

So a decent streaming video app would be excellent and if content was good would pay for this.

Also I think there is an iPhone app similar to Beeb player but with all UK free channels. That would be good.

A really good game that wouldnt take up ram by being able to be loaded on SD card (no routing) :)

Cant see Jetflifcks on Desire as its a copy protected app. Will have to wait till google sort out the mess the Market is in before I can try this.

Ahh sorry mate i was going by my G1 lol not got the desire yet Orange are letting me try out the Sony X10 until they get the Desire back in stock don't think i will be keeping the Sony though even though am a big Sony Fan lol

Agree, an Internet Radio Streaming app would be nice.

Looking forward to TV Catchup.

Would also like an app that supports the .m4b audiobook format. Currently have to convert to .m4a and lose chapter support.

An eBay app like the one on the iPhone would be handy as well for my work.

Ebay App have you tried "PKT Auctions" ?

I want:
A generic internet radio streaming application.
1. DroidLive Lite
2. iheartradio
3. Pandora
4. Ustream Viewer Beta

I'm using Orb with my PC's TV Card which works (ala Slingbox), but the audio is a bit out of sync with the video on my Hero. Although, because it actually does work means to me that it could have some great potential. I like using the browser over the Orb player in the Market since the Orb player didn't stream as well as my Android's browser does. BTW, Orb also streams all the media content from the selected media directories on the hosting PC as well.

1. Signed up for Orb
2. Downloaded the Orb Windows Desktop client and installed it on my PC which has a Hauppauge TV card.
3. Went to mycast.orb.com via the Android browser and logged on with the Orb account I created (bookmarked it).
4. Changed the settings to autospeed test and stream to 3GP-AAC/RTSP Format.
5. Selected the Program Guide and selected the live TV channel which was setup from my home computer's installed TV card with Orb running.
6. Selected Play Channel.
