Root NEED HELP!! Phone won't start.

So I was looking online and I tried to find a way to force the camera on my phone to not make a noise. Basically I edited one line in my build.prop, and restarted my phone. But now my phone won't load!!!! It's shows the white samsung logo and then goes blank. I can get it into recovery just not sure what to do from there. My mac doesn't recognize it either. Any help would be appreciated.


Do I have to do a 'wipe data/factory reset'?
I think If i could get a stock build.prop I could push it to my phone using adb shell. But need help!!

i chanaged my build.prop density from the default 240 to 242 or 243 and my reverb goes to the samsung sighn and then to a blank screen. how do i fix. im guessing i have to replace modded build.prop with the stock/default unmodded build.prop but how do i do that ?? please help me..

two ways...
if adb recognizes the phone... use that to push the file..
if not, you can create a flashable zip to push the file instead

edit: third and easiest way... you can flash the aroma file manager...
and use that to move the file from sd to phone...

1. download this file on your pc
2. extract the 'sdk' folder to a directory of your choice.. for me it will be 'C:/'
3. open the sdk folder and place the stock 'build.prop' in there (make sure it is named build.prop and not anything else...
4. now open up command prompt and plug in your device
5. power on your device... if it bootloops, allow it to do so...
6. type in

cd C:/sdk

7. next type in

adb devices

8. if your device shows up continue to the next step... if not, this method will not work
9. type in

adb push build.prop /system

10. once completed, type

adb reboot

11. your device will reboot and should work again...

Worst comes to worst, you can buy a USB Jig to get into download mode and re-flash recovery using Odin.

i will try this im sure it will reconize my device because odin reconized it (needed odin to download clockwordmod) and i installed samsung drivers so yea i will try but the only thing that get me is that when ectracting the folder it take 30 mins (tried installling sdk before but quit because of the 30 mins worth of extracting)

this isn't the sdk and shouldn't take 30 min... its only the files necessary for adb...

when i click on adb exe after extracting the terminal pops up and then starts loading then after that it clicks off and another tip my phone isnt on the debug like when you go in and check is and im not on a administrator profile .

follow the instruction i wrote... never do they tell you to double click adb.exe

edit: actually... you can try to flash this... might not work but wont do any harm... flash it like you would flash any file in recovery...

heres how to flash...
1. put the file on your sdcard
2. get into recovery
3. scroll down (using volume buttons) to 'install zip from sdcard'
4. press the power button
5. scroll to 'choose zip from sdcard'
6. press the power button
7. scroll down to the file
8. press the power button
9. scroll to 'yes - install'
10. power button
11. the file should flash...
12. once its done, reboot and everything should work again...

as for the adb issue... you should use the administrator account from your computer
