Here's Hyperdrive rom I been using as my daily rom.

Aroma installation:

Installation Instructions

1. Download Rom, Metro fix Zip and Kernel and move to sd card

2. Wipe System, Davlik Cache, Cache and Factory Reset....

3. Install Rom, Metro Fix Zip and Kernel at the same time before booting phone and in that order

4. Reboot and Enjoy..

Here's the ROM we all been waiting for the RSL15 for metropcs.

make sure you download metro fix for mms to work.

Well I gave this ROM a try and I gotta say its real smooth. Worked perfectly. It was nice and all but I'm an AOSP kinda person although I like multiwindow feature and note camera.

PS I couldn't find the spring version so I flashed the Sprint version

Well edgeez zip is for goodness rom which contains goodness build.prop. There's no telling what effects that can have. You guys can try this converter. Just edit usc to metro in buildprop after. I'm not rewriting how for the millionth time look in these forums!

I was wondering if anyone can do a zip to make this rom work on our phone? I love this rom but the jellybean goodness zip makes the phone.apk force close.

Or can someone give me directions on how to do it? I wanna also keep the stock SecMMS.apk with group messaging

what do you mean? because according to the directions above this is how to make it work with our phone. i tried it i love hyper drive i just have way more battery life on my current setup.

I tried both zip files, the goodness zip makes my 4g come on and off and a message saying something about force closing phone application. With The usc zip I cant send MMS

PS. Im flashing version 11 not 10

I wanted to play around with this but it was 1.5gb at the time. Yikes. It's probably even bigger by now. If nobody makes a zip for it I'll probably leave it to download overnight and have something in the morning.

Did you flash a d2usc kernel? You cant use the d2spr kernel

Wait what? Lol. Download a touchwiz kernel for the GS3 from US cellular and flash it after flashing the rom

Did you flash a d2usc kernel? You cant use the d2spr kernel

Yeah that will be better. grab the build.prop from hyper rom. (once you flash edgeez zip it will have goodness rom build.prop).

Edit: hmmm I just thought of something, would the build.prop differ depending on the options chosen in aroma? That could be problematic if it does.

So you want the build prop after flashing edgeez zip? Or just build prop?


EDIT: can you tell me what I need to change to make it work?

Ok this is a good start :thumbup:

I'll give it a shot in a little and if I dont fall asleep I think I can get it to work. I'll let you know as soon as I get it working (or if I give up lol)
