I heard in a couple diff places that call quality on the s4 is not that great. Putting it another way, not as good as the note 2. I have the note 2 and while the call quality is ok, it is not as good as my old iphone 3gs. Anyways, anyone heard anything about this?

A lot of things may be contributing to that issue. Anything from the carrier to the strength of the signal and the voice codes used to put the voice on the air. There are many factors that could be causing it.

The more people on a tower with active phone calls the more they compress the voice data stream. Verizon is known to compress the heck out of the voice stream if there are a lot of people on the tower.

I can let you know Sat when mine comes about call quality and can compare it to my iPhone 5.

I just got the note 2, I'm trying to decide if I should change it out for an iphone 5 or for the s4... but I may not be able to try out the s4 during my exchange window...

Meaning, if I changed it out for the s4, I may have to do it without trying it out first. Everything I've read about it sounds good except for the call quality...
