Accessories HTC ONE accessories (discussion, user reviews)

Two days in my One's battery life has exceeded my expectations. That said, I ordered a uNu Enerpak Tube Universal Battery Pack (5,000mAh) for $29.99 yesterday. It's only 1A (some other models appear to charge at 2.1A) but I was looking for something reasonably priced, relatively small, and in an aesthetically pleasing form factor. The Unu sounds like the perfect combination as a couple emergency charges should be more than sufficient for my needs. Anyone have one of these?

Thats a neat option. Looks good. Although how did you get it for 29.99? It says 59.99?

I just received an email from them.. without me sending them one first... They wrote about how they were aware of the IR sensor problem and that they were sending me a new/revised updated case before May 17. Personally.. I think that is awesome. They could have easily just made a revised one and had everyone purchase them again. Anyway, for all of you who bought the case make sure to check your email. They should be notifying you of this change and new shipment as well.

Do you have a link for the body skin? (Or,are you talking about a 2-piece phone case?)

All I see on the site for the ONE is a screen protector. As they are currently having a 60% off sale :deal:,I'd like to take advantage of this offer before it expires.

THX!:D

UPDATE:

Found the option to upgrade to full-body protection.MSRP $10.00,but ONLY $4.00 w/the discount code [60off].Got two + rush processing for only 99 cents extra,so,grand total of $8.99 out the door. :D

See post #32 in this very thread for an even better discount for multiple quantities [THX CRAFTYCARPER]!I missed it earlier

Just join! Thanks for the link! I used "coaster" and received 78% off my order. Thanks again for the link!

Does this still apply if I bought it off Amazon?

I have purchased several cases including the HTC Flip Case and I have found a winner for my day to day carry.

Amazon.com: i-Blason SoftGel Flexible TPU Case for HTC One Smart Phone (M7, 2013 Release with 4.7 Inch Display 1080P) - Frost Clear: Cell Phones & Accessories

It has a raised power cover and volume rocker cover that make pressing both the power and the volume keys easier than without the case. It probably won't be the case for those of you that are rough with their phones but for people like me who only ever scratch up the back of the phone this case is perfect.

Do the TPU cases slide in-n-out of the pocket easily? I like the looks of that case, wondering about dirt.

Yup they slide in and out very easily. Unlike rubber the TPUs generally don't have that tacky feeling and don't pull lint and dirt with them out of the pocket. Some of the TPU's have grip added to the sides to make a slip out of the hand less likely. This one does not have additional grip but it isn't any slicker than a naked One.

Similar to that case, I purchased this Cimo case in clear (partly because I wanted a case that wasn't too bulky and that you could still see the phone through). I'm pretty easy on my phones so I'm not too concerned at this point about a heavy-duty case like an otter-box (though if I find a good deal on one I might get one for those times it would come in handy).

I must say I like this case a lot, it fits very snugly and w/o blocking any of the buttons, mic, ir, etc. It doesn't have any raised buttons over the volume and power so it makes pressing them a little more difficult (but not frustratingly impossible), which I like because that means when it's in my pocket I'm not accidentally going to be activating the phone like my last case did on my 3vo.

I'm also looking forward to getting a Poetic Atmosphere case eventually for a little color detail, but for now this case is working out quite well.

I'm wondering if that was the cause of the delay. When I first looked at them on Amazon, they ere supposed to chip BEFORE the 19th, When I ordered, it was SHIP on the 19th, but it didn't until Monday. I guess I'll see what I get. Thanks.

BREAK - Does anyone have any suggestions for a USB OTG card reader? I'm trying to get something uncomplicated for my wife (her tech experience is all the way to that "gear looking thingy") and trying to limit the parts that can be lost. She would like a card to be able to print pictures at Walmart and Walgreens. Thanks!

I know there's probably screen protector threads under other phones with Gorilla Glass 2, but I'm having a hard time deciding whether I want to put a screen protector on my One or not. I've already decided I'm not going with a case. I can't bring myself to cover up the great design. If I get a scratch on it or dent it I'll just have to live with it - or get a case or skin at that point to cover it up.

The screen though is a tougher decision. I can't very well cover up a scratch on the screen after the fact (although some have said putting a screen protector on after a scratch will sometimes cover it up). I started off without a screen protector but have one on there now and I clearly like the look and feel of not having one on there. But I also like the idea of it not getting scratched (obviously). The phone is never in a pocket with something else in it, but I know it can get scratched just because of some dirt or grit in my pocket that I didn't know about. So, what's everyone choosing to do? BTW I'm using the Bodyguardz screen protector and it's pretty clear, but obviously not as clear or smooth to the touch as not having one. Any other screen protectors you would recommend?

I don't have a suggested card reader but have you ever used Walgreens App to send Prints over? It works amazingly well. Of course you don't get to use the big screen at Walgreens.

Are there any matte screen protectors you guys would recommend? I'm buying a case and screen protection now since my phone fell out of my pocket mid exam this afternoon and now has a couple of scratches on the back.

Not me, I've never had a matte screen protector worth beans.

Zagg makes one, its terrible but their smooth one is pretty good.

If you're looking for matte to cut glare, my experience with the smooth Zagg one is that it does that anyway.
