32gb microsd in Moment or 16gb max?

Ok, I know there's been some discussion on this, but after searching around for quite a bit I still didn't come across a definitive answer for the Moment.

On Samsung's website, the Moment's specs list a 16GB max:

senses. accelerated Moment? (SPH-m900) - Sprint Cell Phones - Cell Phones | SAMSUNG

I've encountered multiple sources listing the max capacity as 32GB, maybe they just haven't updated the specs since 32gb became a reality?

Has anyone actually tried this? Hoping to get this instead of a replacement ipod...

Thanks,

Canopy

Why does this question come up every time a higher capacity card comes out? Mfg's only write specs based on what is available now. Why would they say it will support capacities of microSD up to 32gb when 32gb cards don't exist? It's been this way forever if you look at specs for older devices when they said 2gb was the limit, or 4 or 8. It's not the difference betweent microSD and microSDHC like say for old Sandisk MP3 players. Once you're in SDHC territory, you're good up to 32gb.

You can preorder the Sandisk Class 2 32gb microSDHC card for $200. Nowhere close to being worth it. 16gb class 2 cards are pretty reasonable. And I'll disagree with Radical for the sheer fact that you have to remove the battery to get at the card slot making an already undesirable process even more so.

I guess it comes down to how rich you are and how fast you want to go?

I can get a 8GB Class 6 card for $20 or for $60 an 16GB class 6 card--so for $40 I can switch out the card which takes no longer than 10 seconds and 45 to reboot. Or you can pre-order a Class 2 for $200--so how much will you spend to have the convenience of more space?

These were the least expensive Class 6 micro sd cards on eBay--but my bottom line is I will take lower price and faster over more expensive, bigger and slower

All the time you save by having a faster SD card is wasted the first time you have to swap cards.
