Help VCard message does not go away on HTC One messages app

My HTC One came in today and I used the HTC Transfer Tool to migrate all of my data from my HTC Sensation 4G to my new device. Everything seems fine except that what seems to be an old .vcard file that was sent to me long ago is stuck at the top of my Messages app. If I click it, it takes me to a new message screen. Nothing happens if I long press and I even went as far as deleting all of my old messages to see if that helped. I've already tried rebooting the phone a few times. Any ideas as to what this could be?

EDIT: http://i.imgur.com/XHqIaVc.png this shows what my messages app looks like.

I cannot open it at all, it doesn't seem like the vcard is being attached to the new message dialog that opens up when I press the message. I tried both of those stops but nothing changed.

I had the same issue. The Card doesn't matter, your old phone transferred over a draft that you never sent. Open it, put in a phone number and send it. Then you can delete it. Either send it to a friend or do what I did and send it to a Google Voice number. Or you can send it to a land line. You will get an error on that last one but the point is once you send it you can delete it.

I just tried this and it didn't help either

Ok just to make sure, you did the following:
1)clicked on Anonymous and it started a new message
2)in the new message you put in a phone number and some text and sent it
3)went back to inbox and now instead of Anonymous it should be the text you just sent which you can now delete. If the anonymous is still there after you sent the message maybe close messaging and restart the phone?

That's correct. Following those steps didn't get rid of the Anonymous.

Ok. I just recreated the same scenario and I was able to clear it the way I mentioned. Something else is keeping that there, maybe the non existent vCard. Seeing as you just got the phone it might be easier just to factory reset and then set up your phone ago. It is a pain but it will get rid of it. If you do that make sure to delete all your drafts from your old phone before using the Transfer Tool again.

In my learning's of this phone I have somehow created a "V" card that shows my contact information. While I can figure out how to edit the information, I can not figure out how to remove it from the text app. I now have permanent "V" card listed at the top of my text app ready to send to anyone. Does anyone know how to remove this from the text app or from the contacts entirely? Thanks for any help.

Edit :THANK YOU for pointing me in the right direction. I got it removed.

This happened to my HTC One. I couldn't delete this 'Anonymous' Begin: Draft: Vcard something like that...

I clicked the 3 dots on the top (menu)

then went to 'Drafts' and deleted my drafts messages and whola! It's gone!

Hope this helped.

this totally worked.

Just need to make a dummy draft then go to drafts. there should be 2 drafts there. one is the dummy and another one is for that stupid vcard. you can then select it all and delete.
