Picture of my screen using my iPad and even my iPad can spot the yellowish screen mine came with. Also got a few gaps on the top and bottom. I have the Developers edition 64GB. Of which I just received. Serial number FA34PW90

I have an older HTC One X as well and the whites on that screen are more white and not as yellowish looking.

Where it's yellow, those bands are shaded on both.

Above that, my portfolio is white on the One, gray on the One X.

Are you seeing that everywhere or just on that app?

Maybe a reference app would help?

Check out "Color Palette - Iromihon -"

How to get white -

A friend of mine bought one here in Taiwan as well. Here is a picture of a camera view of both side by side where you can see mine being more yellowish and his more white. Even my iPad 3 can see the difference lol.. Not just seeing it on the app but every where.

On a side note though, what is interesting though is his will have better pictures but if you are takin a picture of a person and want to capture skin then mine seems to be better but only in that sense.

This is the only website I have visited that has had 469 requests from Amazon from an application for my Firefox browser on my Macbook Pro  Under Content it showed 469 requests.

Either major spam or something going on here..

Is this normal? Looks like it is leaking light from middle top part.

We're hosted on Amazon S3 servers, the pages build incrementally due to the css setups and so forth, and there is a test for using the Tapatalk app, or if mobile browsing, a popup to let you know that we support Tapatalk.

Everything of ours will function with just fine with browser extensions for ad blocking or security.

If you ever see a security or malware alert on our site please email androidforums.com@gmail.com and admin will remove the offending content immediately.

That's rare but people sometimes post links to bad sites without knowing it.

If you're seeing something else -

You may also send in a copy of your web console showing the requests in question.

If it's more convenient, you can post the console results at http://androidforums.com/private-chat-moderators/ and please title your thread "FAO Admin" - fao=for attention of.

Hope this helps! :)

PS - I'm going to move your posts into a support thread for you, I think that you'll get more input that way.

Hi guys,
I have an issue with a new HTC One I purchased on Saturday. Everything seems to be ok for the most part but there seems to be a particular section of the screen that won't respond to touch.
The rest of the screen is fine and I wouldn't ordinarily have noticed but if I go to the Play Store to download an app, the little install dialog box comes up with the install button. I try to press the button but no response. If I expand the box so the button moves down the screen I can then press the button as normal. I have noticed this in other applications too. The issue seems to affect a relatively small amount of the screen (all the way across).
Is it possible that part of the screen is faulty in some way. It actually displays fine but just doesn't respond to touch in this area.
Any ideas?

if you have a screen protector, remove it. if you have a case on, remove it.

if none of the above, do a factory reset.

if the problem still occurs, as mentioned above, take it back. you are within your grace period

I assume you are not rooted.

what carrier?

was the phone purchased brand new and not a refurb/insurance replacement for another device?
