So i tried to send a song to my mates S3 using S Beam/NFC. Bring the phones near,I get the vibration ,get the touch to beam and then it disapears. On the other hand, he was able to send me a song..? Also the touch to beam option only comes up in the play music app..not the default music app. Should I be taking it to the store?
Tried with a few of my friends S3's

Also How on Earth Do you use the NFC payment system? There only be seems to be some USIM payment stuff on my phone?. How do you even use that

To use the nfc payment system, you need to setup a credit or debit card details on your phone. After that, go to a store that supports nfc payment and just put your phone on top of the sensor. Remember to turn on nfc!

If anyone's interested, I went to the store today,And the store phone was unable to beam songs as well..The beam option dint come up in the stock music player in the store's s4 as well.. Is this a bug in the phone then?
Its also weird how the stock music app has no other option to send music but bluetooth. My s2 and s3 all have other options (whatsapp, wifi direct etc). I have to go to a file manager in order to send music in any other wayy..

I have a Galaxy S4 in all apps, there's a folder named My Files. Find the song you want, click share, choose Wifi Direct and an option will appear to search for other devices. The quickest way I found to find the device your trying to beam to is to find a random file in the My Files app on the receiving device and beam it thru Wifi Direct. Once the two devices have found each other and established a link you should be able to send all the songs you want. On an additional note I sent songs to a Verizon Galaxy Note 2 from my T-Mobile S4.
