I was wondering if there is a way to remove some installed programs from the phone. Some of the things installed i will never use or care to use.

I come from a blackberry and I know you are able to remove certain programs in the hard copy of the files. Does the MT3G have something like that?

If there is no way to remove programs then what would you recommend?

Thanks

The stock programs are in protected directories. To access these directories you need root permissions.

If you have read anything on the CyanogenMod ROMs then you know that these core Google Experience apps are what was at the center of the problem...

So one strategy is to build ROMs that do not include the apps ... so yes if you can build ROMs and have the proper Build Environment you can eliminate core apps from the phone ... but since many other apps may call on these apps ... you take a risk of them not working ...

The Short answer to easy and painless removel is NO !!
