If anybody wants it

Of course people want it. I think most people are fed up with the Eris and all its lag due to the outdated hardware.

I've noticed a lot of people saying they will be going from the Eris to the Incredible... How are you guys going about doing that? Don't you have to pay full price since you just bought the Eris recently? Seems like a rather expensive option... Or am I missing something?
Anyone who bought the Eris before Nov 15th has the option to cancel their line/contract and only have to pay $150 ($175 - $5 per month of contract use) for termination fee instead of $350 if bought after Nov 15th and keep the Eris phone which can be sold.

So anyone in this situation can cancel their line/contract and pay the $150 fee and sell the POS Eris for $150 or more and you will be back to square one. Now you can go ahead and get the Incredible for $199.99 with a new 2 year contract.

I love the Eris and I still think it's a great phone, compared to what I've had in the past. That being said, if I had the money, I'd definitely upgrade to the Incredible. I'm like that with any technology, really. If I had the money, I'd constantly be upgrading to the next best phone, the next best piece of equipment, the next best whatever. I mean, why not? But I can't afford it, and until I can, I'm happy with what I have...but there's still no denying that I want the Incredible, just like there's no denying I'd want whatever comes out after that too.

Well, I read the review on the Incredible. Looks to be pretty smooth EXCEPT FOR, imagine this, the battery life. In the review, it looks like the battery life is worse than the N1 and the Incredible doesn't even have live wallpaper. The reviewers said they could barely make it through the day. Now, if I am gonna give $199.99 for a phone, I wish they could make the battery life a little better.....

For me, I have 5 lines so I have an upgrade available about every six months the way the contracts are staggered. So I take the upgrade and switch lines. This plan only breaks down when my wife wants a new phone.....then I have to wait. LOL

I still like my eris, but of course I'm interested in the incredible. I'm another one that likes to always have the newest fastest things available. Unfortunately I'm not anywhere near being available for an upgrade, so the cost of it just isn't worth it. Now if they came out with another model that has hard send/end buttons, LWP, and a better battery, that could be a whole different story......

Or you can add a new line to your plan, then switch phones.
Then have the new line shut off. Not canceled, just turned off so that you dont get charged anything but the $9.99 per month.

Then you can have the INcredicle for the inredible price of $9.99 per month...
and then we can go back to talking about our incredible eris

How does it not make sense? Just read your contract. Its all in there. Eris contracts before Nov 15th only had a $175 cancellation fee. Today it would only be $150 since the fee gets reduced $5 every month of service and you can keep your Eris.

Cancel, pay $150, sell POS Eris for $150, buy Incredible for $199.99 with a new contract.

Simple.
