Is your Droid Eris battery loose?

I dropped my phone the day after I purchased it. Recently, I noticed that when I press the back cover, I hear a creaking noise. I took off the battery cover and pressed on the battery. That's where the noise is coming from, the battery is loose. It's really annoying. Is your Droid Eris battery loose?

OK this is really starting to piss me off. I want to freakin throw my Eris away. Any remedies? I've been contemplating getting the 1750mah battery, but I seriously don't need it because the stock battery is fine.
Just got the 1750 and it does exactly what you want. The increased battery life is wonderful, and I've been trying to drain it all the way down these last few days as the included instructions suggest, but I've had a hard time killing it!

But back to your issue. It does seem that htc left some wiggle room under the battery door, and I hated how I could feel it flex. The new battery fills the space completely while allowing the door to completely snap closed. It feels much more solid.

It seems such a shame to me that these batteries aren't standard.
