Hey guys/gals,

I am attempting to flash my BH2 with BH_Man's 1.6 newest ROM. My son unplugged my phone while it was flashing. It has been connected for over 10 hrs prior to the unplugging, does that seem normal first and now what can I do to save from bricking the phone. I'm able to get the download screen to come up and in Odin, it recognizes the phone, but after I click Start it doesn't proceed after "setup connection". Help.

It sounds like your going through what I always go through. Same thing always happened with me. Alot of times it freezes at either step 2/5 or 3/5. I just kept flashing and about 1 out of the 10 tries it worked. =/

But... I was doing this all while I had a corrupted sd card but I didn't know it. Ah! I have not tried flashing without it yet though, but my suggestion would be to remove it and then try flashing it. I have little knowledge of Odin but I do have experience with bad sd card's and I can tell you that they can frustrate you and mess up everything. Good luck.

1. Make sure adb isnt running
2. Try rebooting the computer
3. Swap usb ports

If it hangs during the flash, you can always pull the battery and try again. Even making sure I take the same steps, every so often it hangs on me.

By making sure adb isn't running, you do you mean the command prompt is closed and the debugging isn't checked on the phone? I've tried the last two suggestions though. Thanks for the advice.

Failure repeatedly on my desktop machine. Kernel flash works, when at the system (phase 2), either odin claims usb is disconnected, or simply stuck at checking environment phase.

At first I thought the culprit is due to I connect to usb via a usb hub. Changing it to usb port on motherboard directly does not help.

Then I switch to do this on my laptop, Odin and ROM works fine.

I have no problem using USB port on my desktop for other use. I don't think the Odin is that robust.

when you connect your phone to odin, you should see the message "detected" or phone added (in the message box where you see it say Setup connection) you should see it say that before you click the start button, I cant remember what it was but something of that nature!

Also when you put your phone in download mode, it needs to have like two lines of text saying that that connection is established!
