If you want to really hide it, place a .nomedia file in the folder.
Just save a blank text file on your pc named ".nomedia" without quotes and remove the .txt extension. Then just put that in the folder with those pictures and it will tell any app that there is no pictures in that folder.

But if I wanna pull up my pics to show someone something, there are a couple albums that just arent for the general publics eyes... and if someone happens to look at my phone while I'm pulling up pics, they may see an album that I don't want to be seen(Cuz we have a bad ass screen! ). Make sense?
I've used an app called vaulty. Works very well for me. Just select the pictures you want hidden and it removes them from your gallery. They're only viewable from vaulty. And it's password protected.
