Verizon 4G LTE keeps dropping to 3G on S4!

Any suggestions on how to improve the data connection?

I've never had this issue with the S3, Note 2 and iPhone 5.
At my house, all 3 would hold 4G service quite well until you went into the basement.

With the S4, I will be on the second floor and it drops to 3G. It is literally so annoying because it will stay at 3G until I switch to airplane mode then back. Then it will go 4G LTE. But shortly after, it will revert!

I have the issue a lot with the S3 and always have. Samsung is not exactly an industry leader as far as radio system design for phones.
