Best "App Review" website?

Everywhere.

Seriously.

No one site will have all the best review of all the apps, so you need to look around. This is especially true if there's a specific app you're interested in reviews of. There are quite a number of reviews here on the forum, and one of our users just announced that he'll be doing regular reviews at his blog, but otherwise "Google is your friend" along with the various Android Market portals.

By "one of our users" you mean me? I just did a review for the most popular Android app of the month.

top 6 fastest growing app

I figure that apps get popular for a short period of time and then they fade away. So it is important to look at the date of the reviews. Android apps are growing really fast and the features / controls keep improving, apps that are good 6 months ago are nothing compared to the newer later apps.

No offense omgwtf, but I'd really like something with more content. Therer are a million app review sites for apple apps, but not a significant one for Android? Seems like a big hole somebody could fill if they went all out with user ratings, putting the QR code in there, categorizing everything, etc. I've seen some sites that get halfway there, but only feature free apps, or games, or whatever.

Thanks for the site - this is more in line with what I'm looking for.

Edit: But do you actually review them or just put their own generic description on the page?

Thansk for the feedback! I will definitely try to find QR codes for everything, and I will take all of that into consideration :)

I visit this site sometimes also. In general, it is just generic description. But some authors do occasional reviews. You can view the review under the review category or at the latest news category.

I did actually review the applications. There are like fifty different websites that just list the exact descriptions that developers post on the android market and those are not very useful... i'm getting bored of those.

Btw for new developers if you'd like your app reviewed on my website please let me know. I only say good things for most apps..

How important are QR codes for users? I am under the impression that if you want to download an app, just search for the name of the app on the android market. Does it really help to add QR codes for every app in your review?

How many people actually uses QR codes to download apps?

searching the market can be daunting, especially if the app uses a common word.

"Mail Widget" vs "Mailwidget" vs "email widget etc"
