Hi everyone,

I've been watching the continued growth and development of the Android platform for a while now, but until recently hadn't seen a handset compelling enough to make me jump on board. I came within a hair's breadth of ordering a Motorola Milestone, when I came across the first hands on videos with the HTC Desire at MWC and fell in love.

I've only had my phone for a couple of days now and have little experience with smart phones in general so I suspect that I have a fairly steep learning curve ahead of me... I'm hoping the resources of this forum and the advice of fellow members here will make this a little less arduous.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. With a long weekend at hand, now is the perfect opportunity for me to start getting to grips with my new phone.

Any guides or FAQ's I should be looking at? I am reasonably technical and have been following the platform for a while, albeit as an interested bystander.
