Hi guys,

So I had recently rooted my S4 (ATT Version) and then the update came about two days later. So I un-rooted, then tried downloading the update with the over the air update but that didn't work. Then I Tried doing it thru Kies but it just downloads the update to kies and doesn't actually update the firmware on the phone, it just keeps looping and starting over like nothing happened. Does anyone know why this is happening, does the phone or Kies still somehow know that I previously rooted my phone and is not letting me update?

Again, I cant update thru the phone or Kies.

Final question, Is their a link someone can provide with the update for update file (TAR/MDA) so I can update it thru Odin? Would that even work?

Thank you in advance.

No reason you can't update through Odin, just find the appropriate file and flash under pda. I'm making the assumption that as you mentioned Odin and having rooted, then you know how to use Odin.Lol

Go to sammobile.com to download the appropriate firmware :)

Thank you for the reply, however I have no idea which one is the right file on that web site. One says for Korea? I don't want to flash the wrong one.

Anyone have a direct link to the right file? I have the 32GB att US version. I'm looking for the recently updated version with knox, app2sd, and hdr video.
