4.3 update for galaxy Tab2?

Since the Galaxy Tab 3 is out, I wouldn't expect to see any update for the Tab 2 until after the Tab 3 gets it. Since the Tab 3 was released with 4.1.2, I am not going to hold my breath. Also, based on support from most manufacturers for most devices, the fact that there is a Tab 3 reduces the chance that an upgrade for the Tab 2 will be released at all.

If you ask Samsung, I believe their answer will be some variation of the following (the same as any other Android manufacturer on any version question).

"There is no announced date for an update to Android x.y for that device at this time."

If it is in the works, we will probably find out by the presence of a leak a few weeks before the official release, with an official announcement of a release date a week or less before the release... probably on the first day of a roll-out deployment.

I'm still waiting for update to 4.1.2....I'm not sure why some got it and others didn't.

I think its because 4.1.2 is for other devices and theres already 4.1.1 and I have 4.2.2 available on GT-P5110

But sadly, still waiting for 4.3. Apparently there is a 4.3 french trial for galaxy tab 2 (3g version) after which it will hopefully be released to other galaxy tab 2s.so lets keep our fingers crossed.

Also, Little Darwin, no offence but your such a downer.

I have gotten 4.2.2 since around September or so. It would be nice to get 4.3!

I just got to say, not all android manufacturers will say that. For example, Motorola.

I have seen on Samsung's website that 4.2.2 will be the last update on the Tab 2. I can't remember where on their site I seen it but I know I have seen it on the website.
From last year:
The Galaxy Tab 2 by Samsung will receive Android 4.1.2 and end with Android 4.2.2. Samsung will no longer support the Galaxy Tab 2 after the Android 4.2.2 update. The updates must be done before the end of September.
Samsung to update the Galaxy Tab 2 until Android 4.2.2
