Help Battery Galexy s4

I orignally had a galexy s3. One day it basically stopped holding charge, and without useing it would be dead in 2 hours. We tried a new battery, sent it away, didnt work. So they upgraded me to a S4. Iv had it less then a month and it is happening again, it basically dies a % per minute. So now I thinking its something I'v done? I do have multiple chargers, would that do it? :( and im on it alot, you could say Im obsessed with my phone. I feel like a idiot going back into the store yet again, since this is happening again it would be pretty ironic for it to happen with two diffrent phones and not be my fault. So im probably going to have to replace it. Iv always been on my phones this much and have never had the charging issues like I do with samsung wich sucks because I love my phone! I probably posted in the wrong forum, sorry. This is my first post.

If possible try and only use the charger that came with the phone. And also posting a picture of your battery stats would help.

Yeah i went to telus today they said to use use original charger. I was useing a few so hope i didnt damage it. Last phone a new battery didnt fix the problem so the phone its self was damaged. How do I post a picture of the battery stats? Like what dp you mean. Also im mew to this site so im mot sure how to even post a picture.

There are a lot of battery apps and the info can be confusing as they tend to report usage in different ways. I like to use Battery Mix and Wake Lock Detector along with the stock battery app.

You can post a screen shot of your results here. (Personally, I upload the screenshots to my computer and resize them before posting as the stock posted screenshots are pretty large).

Here's a thread with some example screenshots... and also discusses battery drain.

I can't imagine you could damage your phone using different chargers. Be aware that the OEM GS4 charger puts out about 2000mAh. Many other chargers will be half that or less. That mainly means that other chargers will take longer to charge the phone than the OEM charger. And cables matter too. Some will restrict the charging current and/or won't pass data.

Use the OEM charger and cable for best results.
