right soo here it is in its fullness

ROM- 1gb to boot up phone and carry out alike processes.

RAM- 512mb to surf web and do things that will not be permanently stored.

Internal Storage- 8gb used for storing apps

Micro SD card- expandable to 64 gb (i think) used for movies files or anything else you want to view on your phone. You can put this files on from your computer and camera. This is also used to store pictures.

Hope that clears things up for everyone, ik it can be confusing, it got me too haha

if i'm not mistaken, the 1GB ROM is for the OS and for apps, correct? well, the main part of the app...and the rest of the app (sounds, pics, etc) is on the 8GB of internal storage, along with your pics, music, and videos. because, unlike the iphone, android apps can currently only be stored on the alotted 1GB ROM space. iphone's OS allows the app to be stored on their 8GB, 16GB, whatever, in the same area where music/pics/video is stored since they don't have removable storage (for now) anyways.

i kinda remember people complaining about the nexus one for it's limited app storage, among other things. luckily most android apps, the core part, don't take up much space anyways. and i heard they might change this with a software update too so, meh.

40 gigs? I think you meant somewhere from 8 to 32 . No phone has over 32 gigs

I think he was adding up the internal storage with the sd card slot capability 32 which would be 32+8=40 correct me if I'm wrong. Also Super all arguing aside I think the max will be 32GB not 64GB, 64GB cards are possible but they are not in mass production yet. Even 32GB card are rare and extremely pricey might I add.

It's pretty easy. I have sold about 12 phones through ebay. I do it quite often. I usually only put them up for 24hrs. Then you get your money through paypal, and ship it. USPS has Priority shipping for like $8.

Not so easy anymore with Paypal's restrictions. They put a hold on your money now until the buyer either leaves you positive feedback or 21 days passes. Made me so mad that I've stopped using Ebay.

This is for any "High Risk" items.

I.E. phones, computers, game systems etc. to protect people.

I think it is released once you provide shipping notification.

I still don't understand how the "Internal Storage" works on the Incredible, especially since apps right now don't recognize it.

Sorry, guys. I'm a complete newb to Android (currently suffering with WinMo 6.5).

What exactly does "rooting" the phone to App2SD mean?

Rooting means you gain "root access" to the phone and can change pretty much everything on it. Sort of like being the admin on your computer - or being in god mode.

App2SD means storing apps on your microSD card - which you cant currently do. You HAVE to store Apps on your ROM to run them. You CAN offload some important files onto the MicroSD (like navigation programs with map files, for example).

But to take it back to a Sprint store, you can't have your phone rooted, correct? Somewhat like having your phone flashed, or jailbroken... Is there a certain reason for this? What's wrong with rooting, or does Sprint say we're ignorant users, and if it's rooted, we must have messed it up?
