Help Bezel Repair/Screen Repair

I have a few chips from dropping my phone along the top front rim of the phone. I've looked at a few tutorials but it seems like the front bezel is a complete piece attached with the front screen. I'm assuming if I want to replace the bezel alone I would have to change the screen as well. My question is, is this true? and I would also like to know if heating the screen is going to be necessary in replacing the bezel/screen or if it's a simple solution of screwing the whole board off the front plate and just screwing it back onto a replacement plate. (I guess that cant be right, because the digitizer is needed here..)

Any thoughts would be great in clearing up this confusion for me. What would be the simplest way to replace the bezel?

Yes, the display (digitizer) and front glass are fused, with a layer of optical adhesive, making it a single assembly. Pretty much half of your device is built into the back of it.

There is no removable bezel in the phone. The bezel is a finish of the edge of midframe. This photos demonstrate that.

Ss said above, you can't buy a bezel. The Bezel is made of two parts, the smaller rim around the screen, part of the digitizer, and larger rim which is part of the mid frame.
You will probably make more damage to the phone by trying to replace that, than by getting a new digitizer.

I see, so the top bezel is in fact one piece as I thought. I wonder how hard it is to remove the digitizer + screen to a new top front bezel.

From what I have seen, replacing the glass is not such a big problem. Definitely a messy process, but doable. However, from what I read here and on other Android forums, people who unglue the glass from digitizer to replace broken screen, usually ended up with problems down the line. Non responsive screen, misfiring touch events etc...I suppose, the mounting will never be as good as factory made, with proper tools and special environment designed just for that.

Regardless, zedomax posted video on that, couple of weeks ago:
