Root [AT&T] Cyanogenmod after Format Data

Hi Everyone,

I really need some help with my problem. I have a AT&T HTC One and it is rooted. I had the latest cyanogenmod installed on it but I realized that the my folder structure was messed up (it had duplicate folders labeled as "0") and so I read online that I had to format my data and such. But when I did format my data, I realized that my folder with all my gapps and the latest cyanogenmod is gone. I tried plugging my m7 into my computer but I can't see it on my computer. I am not sure where to go from here. Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

You going to sideload or push a new rom file to your phone via adb
here's a guide from XDA
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2318497

The guide is for TWRP Recovery but the same thing can be done from CWM recovery under advanced

it can also be done like this:
adb push rom.zip /data/media/0/

welcome to AF!!!!!!!!!!!

moved you to the att one root forum for better help.

sorry to hear about your predicament. you need to always backup your sd card before formatting the card.

do you have a card reader? you can use that to move your cm rom file to the sd card.

LOL you evidently don't have a HTC One .. theirs no removable SDcard

thanks for the tip. when is it not working? it seemed to work fine when i tested it.

here:
C:\fastboot>adb push revone /sdcard
* daemon not running. starting it now on port 5037 *
* daemon started successfully *
failed to copy 'revone' to '/sdcard': Is a directory

C:\fastboot>adb push revone /data/media/0
3503 KB/s (648208 bytes in 0.180s)

C:\fastboot>

Bah my bad i didn't include the trailing /
it has to be: push file.nam /sdcard/
Sorry for the mistake

i havent messed with it on 4.2 yet,but on 4.1 when i copy something to /sdcard/ or to /data/media/0 using root explorer, adb,or drag and drop something to htc one/internal storage on the PC it would always appear in both places, and those files are the exact same(12.29 gb in my case) so i had assumed that the path used was somewhat 6 of one, half dozen of the other. but there could definately be some scenarios where it may for some reason make a difference.

i still need to mess with it with twrp(so id know exactly where to push a nandroid) and with an OTG cable. real life has unfortunately kept me from messing with my personal phones too mush the past few weeks  :(
