Limited app selection due to Intel chip???

I'm looking into taking the plunge and buying my first tablet. I cannot afford a high end tablet and to be honest I really don't have need of one. So I'm quite interested in the Tab 3 series recently anounced.

I've just been reading a review of the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 on what appears to be a Canadian site called Mobilesyrup, and they claim the following:

There is absolutely no limitation on the Google Play Store, and the processor benchmarks very nicely.

I could easily afford any tablet I wanted. I still chose the tab3 8.0 over the others because of its smaller size in its class and the lack of need for a top of the line tablet. I mean honestly how many people actually need or would benefit that much from a better tablet than the st3 series? I am willing to bet that overall it is a very small percentage!

The intel chip also means that the 10 does not do screen mirroring, the 8 however does.

Stay away from the Tab 3 10.1, the Intel chip is not optimized for TouchWiz, it is a very, very, very, very laggy tablet, screen rez is archaic, only 300MB available for apps due to the bloat that is TouchWiz, build quality is poor. Buy the Nexus 10, it is better in every single way, also includes a real HDMI out, none of that MHL HDMI dongle crap.

That might be but I still wouldn't have chosen a Tab 3 8" over say the LG G Pad 8.3 with a Qualcomm 600 Quadcore, 2GB Ram, 1920 x 1200 resolution, Slimport supports 1080P mirroring, comes in a Pure version(i.e. no laggy TouychWiz) so you will always have the newest Android versions first. It's just a much better tablet all around for the same price without having to resort to 2012 specs, not to mention the build quality is also a lot better.
