After searching endless website for our variant of the S4 to no avail, I decided to make us a stock recovery tar file to flash via odin.

Stock Recovery: Download
Odin 307: Download

1. Open the "Odin307" folder and right click on "Odin3 v3.07.exe" and choose run as

administrator. Odin will open.
2. place your phone into download mode. Turn off phone - press and hold volume down, home

button and power button at the same time. When you see the warning push the volume up

button to continue.
3. Plug your usb cord to your phone and computer and wait until you see any number and com

4. Check the PDA block and browse to the tar file you would like to flash.

5. Make sure nothing is check accept Auto Reboot, than click start.

You can install this stock recovery, and install Triangle Away and reset your counter back to 0. Than open the SU app and go to settings and do a full Unroot, and do a factory reset from setting but i did it threw stock recovery, and my phone says official again in about phone and can recieve future updates again.

one last thing where can i get an official metro pcs rom and also will u ever be making a stock firmware or no?

Samsung havn't release a stock firmware, so the only way is to keep a backup of your stock rom on your sd card.

I will be making a stock rooted backup rom for those who didn't make a backup and flash something and want to go back to stock. But keep in mind, it's almost 3gb so it will take a good while to upload.

leave the .md5 on it.

ARocker I think he was referring to nuttmeg when he wrote this a couple of posts before:

"I will be making a stock rooted backup rom for those who didn't make a backup and flash something and want to go back to stock. But keep in mind, it's almost 3gb so it will take a good while to upload"

We know that nuttmeg made that backup and posted in another thread, later you added it to your wonderful sticky "all things root".

I've just do all the steps you recomend (I did not use the triangle away because I rooted the s4 flashing TWRP anf SU,and the yellow triangle doesn't appear) but the status keep saying "Custom".
What to do?
Thanks!

The directions say to uninstall SU and reset the phone and the status will be Official.

All oficial and ready ti update via OTA.

From what I've read It seems that the 4.3 update has many bugs (reported by S4 International and Verizon S4 users that got the update first) and as a result the OTA has been officially delayed by ATT for its S4. Also, the day Tmobile was supposed to release it (the 18th) came and went with no update. Theres no word as to when they'll release it, sorry to say but if the bug reports are correct, it may be a while before we see it.
