Hey guys, I got my Incredidle two days ago. I dont know what happen. They sent it to me and they didnt put a hold on the shipping date. Anyways, you guys wont be dissapointed. The phone is amazing. It's the fastest web browser I have ever had on a phone. The camera takes amazing pictures. I'm new to the Andriod market and had an iPhone and BlackBerries for work. I wanted to try something different and I'm glad I did.

I wont sit here and talk all day, but the everything about the phone is great so far. The screen is so clean and crisp with color. My friends have some other HTC phones and the screen on the Incredible is soo much better. If you guys or girls have any questions I can look on my phone and try to help with any specs or anything else.

Otherwise I will be coming to you guys for tips and how to's with the andriod software...

Correct. Some applications need to be updated on the market to show up. I just used the apk for google earth. It works but not on the market yet.

I don't have the Incredible yet, but I am coming from an iPhone 3GS and I have no worries that Android will satiate all of my smartphone desires.

I had the nexus one for a few days and it was a wonderful device. I would have gladly given up my iPhone for it, but I wanted to get away from AT&T. You should try out the Incredible for a few days before making the switch. I'm confident you won't be disappointed. I can't wait to get my Incredible!

Quick question. Can you take a look at the battery model/spec that the Incredible uses? A lot of people have asked that question and I don't remember getting a concrete answer to them. I've read quite a bit of reviews stating that the battery struggles for a full day of use for above than normal usage.

PHey guys. I'm actually typing this response on my Incredible. That's another thing that is really smooth on this phone. The keyboard is very easy to use and the buttons are the perfect size. The keys are very very responsive to how you type.

Anyways I'll try to answer the questions quick...

The papal app isnt on here right now. I use it myself and I called and they said it will be updated right after the launch date...

I ordered the phone over the phone with a Verizon rep and she said there wasn't a hold when it was shipped to me a couple days ago. So if you want it quicker try that method.

Compared to the iPhone the Incredible is the next step in smartphones. I have an iPhone for work and theres nothing that the Incredible cant do better. The snapdragon processor on here blows the browser away on the iPhone. It's quicker by far. Plus it helps to have a great network. It does everything the iPhone can do. The Incredible screen and display doesnt compare. It's better, way better...

Now the battery question. I'm on my phone all day from texting to browsing the web..etc and the battery goes strong for 10-12 hrs without a problem. It all depends on what you do. I've been talking on it a lot today and the battery has about a 1/3 life still left. The only thing i noticed is the battery drains a little faster when u watch videos for a while. I watched about 10 movie trailers and the battery went down kinda fast... otherwise if you just playing around on your phone in between phone calls it holds up most of the day.

You guys can probably help me when you get yours but there are a ton of preloaded apps that could be having an effect on the battery so im not a 100% sure.. but the battery is fine for me... I'm sure the tips and ticks will come out to make it last even longer....

you might have to disable htc sense to get the stock 2.1 widgets.
