Haven't seen anything yet, but I would think lcd. Just a hunch though, no facts to back up that claim.

If it's LG its definitely LCD(IPS) screen. I would welcome it too. My Galaxy Nexus which uses amoled, is really showing its age.

That's exactly what goes through my mind as well.
It's also a big slap in the face to Verizon customers that it seems Sprint might get this one after not getting the 4.

Yeah, so much for the "CDMA is the reason for no Nexus" for the Nexus4. At the time, it was probably more because the Nexus4 didn't have LTE and they didn't have a CDMA+GSM solution I guess?

I really hope I'm wrong and the Nexus5 comes to Verizon, but it sure doesn't seem like it'll happen.

Yeah, I'm not counting on it. It was really shocked to find that it supports Sprint tbh. I thought they were going to get screwed yet again. I'm not ruling out the possibility of their being two Nexus 5 models, just like there was 3 Gnex models. One for Sprint, and an unlocked GSM one. I'm still having trouble wrapping my head around how updates are going to pan out if there's only one model and Sprint is a player in all of this.

That's just a retraction of someone (who's usually pretty accurate) denying that was it.

The leaked images he had and was basing claims off of was an entirely different phone though

Hammerhead still looks like its the real deal

I'm really liking what I see so far about the Nexus 5 being made by LG, with 5" 1080p screen and Snapdragon 800. I do hope that the battery is replaceable somehow just so that when it fails down the road I can put a new one in there. I also hope that it will be available in white right off the bat, but if not, I'll buy the black one and be happy with that.

thats not bad looking... hope they keep the soft touch plastic back as opposed to a glass back like they used in the Nexus 4.

What if this is a decoy? Something is fishy here. Seems like this is a trend here lately. They have kept this under wraps using the whole Key lime pie name. They're slipping up too easy now. Seems like this has been the plan all along. What do you guys/gals think?
