Calendar reminders now being voice-narrated out loud??

Starting suddenly this afternoon, my SGS4 started voice-narrating out loud my calendar reminders even while my phone is set to "vibrate" or set to "silent". I have no idea what happened, but I can't figure out how to turn it off for the life of me. Please help! This is driving me nuts.

Is it possible you accidently switched on "driving mode"? I haven't tried it yet but what you described is what this mode is supposed to do I think.

Ha! Yes, that is exactly what happened. I accidentally tapped it in the drop down notification menu. Thank you!

I wish we could customize the widgets in that drop down menu. I only need to keep like 4-5 of those things in there. Oh well...

You can customize which toggles show up in the top row (that is visible upon the first swipe down - above the notifications). It is only when you do the two finger swipe down that all the toggles show up there.

Settings-display-notification panel - drag/drop the ones you use to the top row.
