How do I update all the apps on my phone? How do I disable that crazy noise that appears all the time while doing specific things? How do I disable vibrations on everything but SMS and phone calls? How do I sign out of YouTube without signing out in my other Google apps? Should I use an Antivirus and which one? (I don't do any "dangerous" things and I don't click on everything that pops up btw) How do I make that eye scrolling and hand thing working? Can I buy apps without a credit card? (like the iTunes cards for example) What are the alternatives for the fallowing apps that I used on my iPhone: iBooks, iWork (Keynote, Numbers, Pages), iLife (iPhoto, iMovie, GarageBand), GoodReader, Star Walk, Solar Walk, Sky Guide, Exoplanet.

How do I update all the apps on my phone?

Open the app called "Play Store." Hit the menu button (the left button next to your physical home key), press "My Apps" and any that will need updated will appear on the list. Any that don't need updated will appear underneath it.

How do I disable vibrations on everything but SMS and phone calls?

Settings/MyDevice/Language and Input... go to the settings for the keyboard you are using and turn off haptic feedback and/or vibrate on keypress

Also go to Settings/MyDevice/Sound... turn off Haptic feedback... adjust other vibration settings as desired.

Additionally, you can usually adjust settings for individual apps from the menu within said app.

How do I sign out of YouTube without signing out in my other Google apps?

Open YouTube and press Menu/Sign Out

Should I use an Antivirus and which one? (I don't do any "dangerous" things and I don't click on everything that pops up btw)

Eh... I don't use one. Though Lookout comes bundled on the phone and typically gets great reviews.

Settings/My Devices... scroll to stuff on the bottom and turn it on.

Yes... gift cards for the Play Store are available through most major retailers (Target, Walmart, etc).

iBooks: Amazon Kindle App or Google Play Books

iWork: Polaris Office, OfficeSuite 7

iLife: Built-in Gallery app

Good Reader: Adobe Reader and lots of other options - just search Play Store for PDF

Star Walk/Solar Walk: Star Chart

Hmm, that eye scrolling rarely works... And the hand thing not at all...

I googled a bit and air gesture seem to work fine now. Aside forum the Internet browser where I can only scroll not go back and forward - is that normal?

Air gesture is a different story. It works, yes, but it's anything but reliable... Am I doing something wrong here?

The Samsung features you're mentioning are way over hyped by Samsung and in general very disappointing. The only ones I have turned are Stay Smart, which keeps the screen on while you are looking at it, and the one where you can turn a phone over and it will stop ringing. I've not actually had an opportunity to try the second one.

Same here. I only use the smart stay function and other smart function are off. (Although the other features can be useful in certain circumstances.) From what I understand, you have to make sure you are waving your hand over the sensor, for it to register a wave.

Good day guys. I'm new to this site and things look really cool and friendly here.. thought i could ask for some help too. My question is I bought an S4 last Aug and been loving it till now..but my main concern is i can't seem to update my JB 4.2.2. Is this the latest version of JB? Every time i plug my s4 to Kies it says "Your device current firmware version is not supported to update firmware via Kies" ???? Is there like some trick to update to anything upgradeable? Any help from anyone would be great. Thanks in advance guys.
