How to install themes on the sprint hero?

Rooted my Hero, installed the fresh 2.0d ROM, I have a theme that I just downloaded. How do I flash it my hero? would this process be similar to flashing ROM w/o actually having to wipe? (saving to SD card, power off Hero, boot in recovery, choose theme, allow installation, reboot?)

Do a nandroid first, then yes exactly what you said. As long as the theme is compatible with Fresh 2.0d

I say do the nandroid because i had an issue with a theme and had to do a nandroid restore...

How do I do a nandroid? who this involve me going into recovery again? Do u have a few instructions for me to follow?

Boot into recovery, choose nand backup. Which you should have done before you flashed anything to your phone.... Anyway, it will run, probably wont take long, but give it a chance, it will say nandroid complete.

Yea I did do a nandroid when I rooted my phone... just not before I actually rooted, I hope thats ok, I was just following the structions, lol. OK I got ya now though, I'm performing the nandroid backup right now, pretty sure I'm suppose to save it to my PC after, then I'll put the theme to my SD and follow through.

One question, when I add my theme, will everything I have configured on the screens be reset?

Yeah, you can't do a nan. backup before you root.... so that works out pretty well lol.

And I'm pretty sure everything will stay just the way you have it after you flash the theme. Like I said, be sure it is for the rom you're running. Most of the ones I've seen for damage and fresh 2.xxx were compatible, but just double check wherever you downloaded it or found it. Hope that helps.
