Stay away from that Spigen Neo Hybrid case! I bought it for my Note 3 and the fitment is HORRIBLE! They would never reply to my emails, and had to go through Amazon for the claim. I bought cheap $5 cases from eBay that fit better. I had the Otterbox Commuter for my Note 2 and it was perfect. I'll be using a cheap case until I can get another Otterbox for my Note 3.

I am bummed to hear about this since I have one on order. Can you elaborate on the fitment? It's horrible how?

The band and "inner" case fitment on mine was too loose with the Note 3 inside. This was VERY noticeable if you went to use the volume or power buttons. I always felt as if the phone was going to slip out. What's worse is that they never replied to my emails, because I was more than willing to accept a replacement because the case itself looked great. Mine came today, as well as the Kaleidio i ordered when the former was delayed in shipping.

The plastic part of the I-Blason has a very thin rubbery coating that makes holding it easier than the Kaleidio, which is slick, and would be easier to use if I were going to carry it in a pocket.

I have the exact opposite impression of the slipperiness of the i-Blason case. To me it feels slippery. I'm not too happy with the kickstand as well. That 45 degree angle is great for watching movies but there is no way to have it in a vertical orientation just horizontal. One plus with the kickstand deployed it makes a convenient finger rest for one handed operation.

Overall I like the level of protection this case affords but I'm looking for one with a vertical kickstand instead of of a horizontal one and I'd like a case that is more grippy. The included belt clip holster gives full screen protection and clips on to my belt very well but I'll probably just use it when I'm throwing my phone in a bag.

Here are a couple of pictures of my Note 3 in the case with the kickstand deployed.

Just to let you know, the power and volume rockers are not the ones from your phone. I just got the case and noticed the loose buttons, but those are actually overlay buttons from the outer ring. Fitment on my N3 is pretty good, my phone is pretty snug in the inner rubber core of my Neo Hybrid.

But in the end it's about your satisfaction. The good news is case reviews seem to be popping up every day now, so it'll make your choice a bit easier.

I'm happy with my Neo Hybrid, fit and finish is top notch on my case. The rubber sleeve provides some good tactile feeling when I one hand operate my phone, and the case hasn't added much bulk to the phone.

Edit: Only negative I have is that the S Pen bit more difficult to remove now. The case has a roughly 3 mm increase to the phone's dimensions, and as such recesses the S Pen. Would this be a deal breaker for me? Nah, more difficult but not impossible, just gotta get used to it is all...

Just noticed there's a wire under the belt clip that folds out to hold the clip open, as if it were creating another kickstand, but it's impractical because the phone will only go into the holster face down.

Got my Spigen slim armor today. Not going to lie, the phone is really slippery now.

I'll keep it and use it for when I'm going to be out away from my classroom or home where I'll keep it nude in my leather pouch. When out in public, it's faster to just pull the phone out without having to also take it out of the pouch, so I'll use the Spigen for that, but I really prefer the slim nude feel of the phone itself.

MY Neo Hybrid is finally on it's way. Got the 'shipped' notification on 10/17. The supposed delivery date? 11/4! I guess it must be come via the fabled 'slow boat from China'!!!

As soon as it arrives and I get a chance to put it on and test it out I'll update my thoughts here. To tell you the truth, I'm getting quite used to the GN3 naked so the Neo Hybrid is going to have to blow me away or back it goes!

I've enjoyed Spigen cases for some time on the different phones I have. Wanting to put a case on my Note 3 as soon as possible, the only one available when I placed my order via Amazon was the Spigen Bounce.

Planning to use it temporarily while awaiting a matte finish non slippery Slim Armor, I ended up being so impressed with the quality fit and finish of the Bounce, I'm going to keep it on. It's very nice looking, subtle and comfortable to hold.

Just got a little bit of a tip straight from the source. ElementCase is a SUPER high end case manufacturer for Apple phones with a sprinkle of Samsung phones. I think their cases look SUPER sleek and very unique. I wanted to know about a case for my Note 3.

My Twitter Question to the company

To me, that's basically a yes. Very excited to see whats on the way.

The glossy colors are slippery. The matte finish colors are not. I learned by trying both.

My Slim Armor in Matte Gray just arrived today, the fit is absolutely perfect, as usual.

Here's a large pic that shows the matte finish. The rubber inner liner is very shock absorbing, I've dropped my S4 in this case, not one bit of damage.

With complete perimeter coverage no part of the phone other than the display is exposed.

Despite the assertion that my case was not coming for another two weeks, it arrived today. Not sure what that was all about but who cares - it's hear!

Anyway, on to the review!

I went with the Neo Hybrid after seeing the new color on their page, the one with the satin gold ring. It is very attractive, elegant I would say. I have the white GN3 and there is no doubt that this case would look so much better with the black GN3. But it is what it is. If Spigen offers a Neo Hybrid with a white shell material I might try that. But the black is okay for now.

The build quality seems very good. The fit is excellent. The cutouts for the various things like the mics, power/data plug, S-pen, speaker are all very well executed and well centered. I had no problem getting the S-pen out with the case on. The buttons do appear loose but that is by design. These are just button extensions and they work well. The case definitely adds some size and weight. Not a lot, but enough to be noticeable. Size wise, the phone barely fit into some of my shirt pockets (the ones with larger pockets to begin with) but with the case it now does not. It sticks out and the flap with Velcro cannot make contact to seal the phone in. This is important to me because it keeps the phone from sliding out and crashing to the floor when I bend over to do something. So now the phone will have to go into my front pants pocket. Not a big deal since many of shirt pockets didn't fit the GN3 even when it was naked.

The material is very smooth (both shell and ring) and is a little on the slippery side for me. It's not awfully slippery, but I would have preferred a little more tactile grip, at least on the black shell back material. The added weight does give the phone a more 'realistic' feel. By that I mean that the weight of the GN3 naked feels just too light for all the technology that is stuffed into the phone! With the added few ounces from the case it now feels like it should. There are two things I particularly like about the case: The raised ridge around the front bezel of the phone and also the raised area around the camera lens and flash on the back. One of the things I didn't like about the naked GN3 was the protruding camera lens and flash package. I thought that was just asking for damage from a drop.

While the added weight would detract from shirt pocket carry, I find I actually like it in my pants pocket. I can tell it's there and I feel like there is much better protection from bumps. Also now there is much better protection from drops. The shell material is very well made and should provide very nice shock protection from drops. The raised surfaces front and back should provide some protection as long as it lands on flat surfaces. I'm not digging on the added weight to the phone when holding it in my hands but that's just because I'm so used to the naked GN3. I'm sure I'll get used to it pretty quickly.

Will this be my last case? Probably not. But I'll keep it on for now and see if I get used to it. I wish I had gone with the black GN3 now as it would look so much better with this case. But at least I know it's protected now from minor drops. I'm not a kid so I don't drop my phone much, but I have on occasion. All in all, this is a well-made case and worth the $25 I paid. This my first time with a Spigen case and I like the look, feel and build quality. Minus the minor reservations listed above, I would recommend it.

I will attach some photos shortly.

I was considering this and the other Spigen case that's similar, but I need to confirm if it'll work with the OEM wireless charging cover first, so hopefully someone else on here gets the wireless charging cover and tries it out.
