I think the Gmail account I use on my phone is f'd, voice search (server problem) and youtube (sorry, this video can't be played) don't work. From the research I've done, this seems to be a problem with random accounts on the google server side. Unfortunately, there doesn't appear to be a way to contact google about it and it's unknown if or when it will be fixed. I have other gmail accounts and want to use one of them, but will the few paid apps I have be lost?

Try a hard reset.

The Youtube problem is common if you're running 2.1 (which i'm guessing you are since you mentioned voice search) and haven't done the following: [Solved] - Android 2.1 - Streaming Apps

It may fix the youtube problem, but the voice search issue is still server side. The fact of the matter is that I don't really use either feature too often, it just irks me when something doesn't work as advertised.

I agree with Iowa here, until Sprint pushes this live no one responsible for making it work.

And I thought I was being responsible for making it work? Thus my original question and why I thought to change google accounts to see if that resolves the issue. On second thought, I'll blame IOWA instead.
