It's okay and will work but I'm worried about it flexing off the phone when I'm pulling the N5 out of my pocket. It's smooth and somewhat snug but has so much traction that it doesn't slide against fabric very well. I was looking for something a little more firm but I like it so far. You can also turn the phone upside down with just enough lip that there is no worry of the screen ever touching the surface.

I have been using this case for a day now and I'm impressed. The fitment is perfect and I love the color combo. The buttons for volume and power work great, they are really easy to press and are responsive. The cut outs for speakers, USB and headphone are perfect. The case is a little more white than the phone and has a mat finish similar to the white Nexus. Sorry for all the lint of the phone.

That's the same one I got. How'd you get the phone in without the power button being pressed down? Really like the look and feel of the case, the power button issue is just a pain. I've finally got it in the case where I can use it now, but every once in a while its offset again and will reboot

Got an email from Spigen, they're sending me a replacement case and a free "premium" screen protector.

Hopefully this solves the issues. I'll report back when it arrives.

I'll let you know when I get my Ultra Hybrid case tomorrow since it came with an ultra crystal screen protector.

For everyone that wanted to know, the screen protector with the ultra hybrid case DOES NOT have the cut out for FFC. It only has one cut out for the speaker.

It does the job. That is for sure. All of SPIGEN's protection applications are dry, btw.

Truthfully, I didn't leave it on long enough to find out. I only applied it because it came with the product, but took it off because I'm not a fan of screen protectors.

I got this case Monday (slate metal color) and have had it on the N5 since it showed up. It's a nice fit, and the buttons have an awesome feel to them. Took me a minute to get it on, but eventually got it. The TPU back seems to me to be less "grippy" than the back of the phone, but I'm going to keep it for now.

I have had an Otterbox Commuter on my RAZR Maxx since I bought it, and while it adds some bulk, it has saved my phone from two really bad drops on the pavement (one face down). I'm not so sure this case would provide the same level of protection as the Otterbox as it's definitely lighter and thinner.

That sucks. I did not have any problems with the case. I can take my phone in and out with out the power button getting stuck at all. Hopefully the replacement case is better for you.

I tried it with the Otterbox Commuter rubber membrane on my Nexus 5. IT CHARGED.
I then put the membrane on the charger and put the phone in into the hard Commuter case....IT CHARGED.

So if it can charge through Otterbox Commuter case +++++

This is a good deal for a working accessory for Nexus 5.

No clue, but I've read on engadget that Google was to make them available at the Nexus 5 launch day but they've mysteriously vanished.

I expect them at the same time both cases are to be sold.
