Help Personal Assistant Compared To Siri

Siri is hands down one of the best computer voices I've heard. Watson, that computer that was on Jeapordy is right up there with her. I haven't heard anything on Android to compare to either. I don't really talk to my phone that much so the small improvements the Samsung US English TTS HD and the Google TTS upgrades brought are all right by me.

Google Now is for searching; Siri is for assistant and sometimes giving you direct to the answer, I think, they are 2 different purposes of Apps.

Google Now does a lot more than searching. It can make appointments, set reminders, send sms and emails, give directions to locations using google maps and much more. Obviously you havent played with google now much yet.

And even better... Google now can give you information without you having to prompt it.

Every morning during my commute when Im standing outside at a bus stop if I check my notifications Google now has placed the schedule for that bus stop, telling me what time each bus is scheduled to get there and where each one is going.

It blows siri away. :)

So far I've found that Google Now is better than S Voice but for those of you to say that it is better than Siri, you are completely wrong. You obviously just don't like Apple, or have never used Siri.

I have the note 3. I don't care for Apple, but Siri is by far the best that I've used yet. I would really like to find something close.

Why condemn others for their preferences?

Why assume or accuse?

It seems iPhone's are your preference. I use both platforms and refuse to condemn either. I enjoy my latest top of the line Androids and find my iPhone 5S has its strengths as well.

I'm now showing off on my iPhone friends ... no more touch

Google Now. Another feature, is it can scan your email for information that it is capable of working with. For example, I had a confimation from united airlines on a flight. On the date of the flight, it brought Now Cards displaying all the flight information and Maps displayed the route to the airport with times and traffic information. I don't think Siri does that without being prompted.

Isn't the purpose of an assistant to do things without being asked?
