Root [T-Mobile] Getting the S4 tonight. Best battery life rom, or Google Edition Rom help.

I know what I'm doing braa. I want the best battery saving rom. Then if I'm gaming I wanna turn her up.

Well i have a pretty solid GE ROM. And I solid TW rom that i was told to take down if you want them. Developement is stopped for both of them "Publicly" but i will still modify them and once 4.4 GE comes out and 4.3 TW come out i will put them back up. PM me if you want the link to one of these.

I've always overclocked, from the Admire, to the Esteem.. this is the first device i'd say you don't need to bother over clocking.
I found that the Darth stalker S4 Rom runs amazing and can customize everything when you install the xposed framework. I can turn the data antenna off for individual apps if i don't want them broadcasting. and can deny different permissions to each app. If I don't want something to access my accounts, or gps.. the Xposed framework has a modual for that.
Battery life is amazing with this compared to anything I've had. Use "autostarts" to disable the start toggles for apps. and keep everything turned off.
Used the app manager to keep the ram free. no need for extra apps anymore to customize things, or tweak things and settings. The Xposed framework adds onto even stock Roms (since they are stable and fast enough on their own) to give you the color and setting tweaks in a GUI.

I'm using a 4 month old Rom... So I'm updating tonight... the Dev on darthstalker was updating every few weeks... I didn't wanna flash that much, just wanted stable Rom.
I can only assume Darthstalker is even better now.
It has everything working also.

Don't use TWRP (touch work recovery program) I and a couple others had issues flashing Roms with it. my problem was a glitch that when TWRP cleared the cache and system/data somehow it would think the internal memory was full... so it would complete the install and then get stuck at boot logo or black screen.

only times I had any issue was using TWRP... so I would recommend using CWM for a recovery.
