Which Bluetooth earpiece works best with voice command

I have S-Voice disabled, so I assume I'm using some sort of Google service. It's somewhat annoying because you can't just hit the BT button and say "Call 555-555-5555." It will tell you to say call name or number, then you have to say that name or number, and then it will tell you to say okay or cancel. It's accurate, but getting the instructions each time is annoying.

Me too, basically because you can then voice-dial even if your phone is locked with a pin (s-Voice will not). I don't mind its various confirmations of what you are doing, since it's very accurate (at least in my experience, so far). I use two different Plantronics headsets.

I just got a Plantronics Voyager Legend. It's nice as I can verbally tell to answer or ignore calls (that it tells me who is calling if they are in my contact list as well) and not have to touch the phone.

It works reasonably well with S-voice, or you can use it with Google Now. I am still playing around with what I like best.

This thread makes me wonder how many headset features are controlled by the headset and how many by the phone firmware and apps. For example, I noticed that 4.3 changed the sound of the voice and other workings of handsfree operations using the same Plantronics headsets that I used before (with the built-in Android voice command firmware). Any info available on this?

I have the Plantronics legend, and I definitely hear the headset itself say "incoming call from" then the phone TTS voice say the contact name.

With 4.3, the default S Voice changed, and sounded completely different. I had to re-download the voices from the 'Samsung Apps' App to correct this.

If you clear out the default settings for S-Voice from within Task Manager --> Clear Defaults, it allows you to pick between Google search or S-voice when you long press the headset button.

EDIT: I noticed that Google search selection only lets you same a name or number - S-Voice lets you do more such as ask about weather, sports scores, etc.
