Oh man thats risky for me. I basically destroyed my Gs3 screen. and i just wanna protect this one as much as possible
Don't listen to me. I don't use screen protectors or cases, going back to my Palm TX. ;)

How bad are the smudges on the screen? should be able to just wipe on your shirt and have it be fine right
i got the spigen slim armor pack that came with 3 screen protectors... i use those and love them. they are basic, but don't have a grippy texture to it so they work well. ONLY downside to these is that like most SP's they pick up finger prints

Yup ..... seems like I'm constantly doing the shirt wipe thing. :D

I'm also using the Spigen SP. I have no complaints, they are a good basic "clear" SP. Shortly I should be getting the ones from Tech Armor's joke contest and I will give them a try.

The zagg has peel, but you can't see it unless the phone is off. And for people not using a screen protector, have fun! You should have seen my S3 after just a couple months. Ruined.

<shrug> TX with glass backed digitizer 2007-2010, Nokia 5800 2009-2010, Nexus One 2010-2013 (Fine condition other than broken power button and too old hardware), Nexus 4 2013 (7 months then give to my son), and now Nexus 5. All naked, no regrets. Sure, bad things can happen anytime. No regrets if they do. (well, maybe a little) It's a risk I'm willing to take. I'm not going to buy an attractive phone just to hide that attractiveness. :)

totally agree with your last statement, I will never use a case ever. and never used a screen protector before had a HTC incredible and Gnex before my N5.

only very few minor cant see unless you look for them scratches, but I decided to try a SP (only $5.00) and actually surprised how I can barely tell it is there and how similar it feels to glass.

I didn't hide mine. Got zagg and a Diztronic case. The real ugliness will start when you have a scratched screen and the back is all worn down. Or you drop it. You'll learn. I did. Gorilla glass sucks.
