Just spoke with Verizon - Retail Pricing?

I was told by customer service it would be about $530. However, I just spoke with sales at my local Verizon store and was told $469. Anyone know what the deal is?

Forgot to mention I currently have the Motorola Droid. So while not a huge upgrade, it would be nice.

I wonder what the cheapest amount for adding a second line would be. I would only use it to get the incredible for $200.

You are forgetting the $30 a month data plan you would also have to get in order to get the incredible.

Just called Verizon. They said that because my current package is 59.99 per month, I would need to get the family plan for 99.99 per month. Add the 2 data plans on top of it, And its not even worth it.

This is what I'm doing. I got an old phone off ebay for 2 bucks that I'm gonna activate on the second line. Total monthly cost only went up by about 12 bucks

I have a similar issue in that my upgrade is a year away and I am on the unlimited plan. Adding another phone, including a non-smartphone, would really increase my monthly bill. If I take out a separate plan for the phone, it would add a minium of $30 to my bill as $30 is the cheapest plan (65+).

New user here, first-time Android owner.

I can confirm that I just purchased the Incredible for $469 (ZIP: 04401), though the service rep indicated that the price I was quoted on the phone was incorrect, they still honored the price in store (quietly, out of earshot of other customers).

I was already a Verizon customer, and moved over early from my TP2. No changes to contract dates.

I had to do a bit of polite pleading, but I didn't put up a fuss or argue. The entire transaction was polite and they seemed eager to honor the $469 price, possibly since there are two more Verizon outlets (both "official") within 1/2 mile of this store.
