Look for baseband version....usually ends in something like mf3 or mk2

The Baseband, also known as the modem or radio, version can and often does, differ from the actual firmware version in many of the Samsung releases and therefore is not a reliable indicator of the actual firmware version.

To locate your model number and Android version...

Settings > More > About device > Model number and Android version

This will give you the model of Samsung Galaxy S4 that you have and which Android version you are on.

To locate your current Firmware version, (not Baseband)...

Go to the dial pad and type in...

*#1234#

This will give you your, "Version", details in full, usually 3 lines of information which may all be relevant.

ive tried alot of guides..saving the zip file on my sd card going into some mode i dont even know anymore and installing from sd card...most of the time it just hangs. can i unroot my device and just go back to stock 4.3?

yes but your going to have to download some software if you didn't make a back-up before you began. i can direct you to the correct downloads if you want.
