Anybody have this screen issue, on left side of screen towards top(the very side part of screen where the edge is), there seems to be a shinny silver like 1/2 inch reflective part that should be black, so when you watch video in horizontal mode like tilt it sideways, it reflects back, very annoying, but a very small little part of edge of screen.

You have to tilt it towards you or away from you to see it, I think towards you.

here they are

appears to be bleed from the backlight maybe, really hard to tell in those pics. is it a color? or is it light? i.e. if the backlight is off is it still there? if not then thats bleed, may wanna get a new one if it bugs you a lot...

it's not a bleed, it's like the black coating that covers that bezel under the glass is not there, so that part is just silver and reflects all light that hits it.

Wrong type of technology. ;)

You're never going to find backlight bleeding in OLED displays. One of the highlights of the technology is the lack of a backlight. That's one of the reasons why the blacks are so rich on the screen even when you're in a dark environment. This is something LCD's suffer at due to the need for backlighting.

OLED displays are basically the next best display technology to CRT's.

I understand that this is a very old thread, and I apologize for the revival; I was just curious if anyone else has an issue like this. I have the same thing occurring along the top of my phone, above the notification bar. It has to be a pretty extreme angle, so it doesn't really bother me - I'm moreso curious.
