Just ordered two Eris (bogo $29.99) over the Phone from verizon. Was wondering about how long it takes to recieve the phones? (Those of you who have done this or ordered online)

Not sure what's Bogo...

But if it's coming from Verizon, it will leave Canada tomorrow on 2 day shipping FedEx. So probably Monday.

Oh, and you have to be there to sign... otherwise another day if you miss it.

Yes thats correct they have sent me many phones in the mail lol and its 2 day shipping make sure your their to sign like cableguy said cuz if not thats another day you have to wait and be with out one!

Holy sh** Wife just called said she was checking on our order we made tuesday.... They never approved it!!!!!! Wife was on the phone for her whole lunch break. Now they are overnighting them waiving the rebate and giving us instant savings. waiting on their call for the order #

Got to be kidding!! Verizon never called back with a order # so called them after waiting an hour! When i called, the rep said that no order was placed/couldn't find the order? What!? We orded two seperate times talking to verizon both times! How does it not get ordered? Now for the third time they are only waiving one rebate and the overnight. We were supposed to receive the phones on Thursday originaly (wife was off work to sign) But now they wont arrive till friday (we both work) no one to sign, no saturday delivery, work monday also, So Tuesday next week. Plus we obviously have to change our plan to add data (wife didnt understand) thats another story...... What a night, where is my Beer!!

I know this is the wrong forum for this but it just kinda happed through the thread

Yeah, the data plan is pain. I'm debating about dropping my 450 Nationwide to just the regular 450 (so no unlimited texting) and just using Google Voice for texts. Should be cutting off $20 on the $100 bill.

Its not the money thats the issue, Just saying it should of been upgraded to a verizon plan al long time ago! not verizons fault.

BAD IDEA! The possibily of going over is not worth it IMO... you would b screwing yourself.

Young kid like you... I'm sure you can come up with a few other areas where you can save $20 a month
