Help Gmail Notifications without sound?

I dont think there is, but maybe someone knows how. Does anyone know if there is a way to turn on sounds on gmail notifications. I want to be able to still receive notifications popups, but I don't want sound to play on them.

I know I can turn off sounds on all notifications but I only want to on Gmail.

Once you are in Gmail....>Menu>More>Settings>Notification Settings>Notification Sound

Well when in Gmail I go to menu>Settings, then I see notification settings, but it only says email notification, select ringtone, or vibrate. I dont see anything to turn sound off.

EDIT:Nevermind, if I click Select Ringtone, I can pick silent.

This is gone in my version, how to I setup it to silent in gmail 2.3.5.2

menu>more>settings>click your account under 'account settings'>scroll down to 'Labels to notify' and from there you can change tones, vibrate, etc
