ZTE Z740 (Radiant)

You can use Framaroot located at the XDA website. As a new member it won't let me post links, etc. Just Google Framaroot, and you will find it. Make sure 'unknown sources' is checked in Settings/Security.

When it opens up, choose the Gandalf exploit. I used this method yesterday on a friend's Radiant, and worked flawlessly. Hope this helps.

Thanks mabry. Worked fine for me on ZTE 740 Radiant with the latest version of Framaroot using the Gandalf exploit. I installed the Pro version from google play after the free version was successful. I did unmount my SD card before i ran Framaroot if that matters and put a check in Security "unknown sources" in settings. Hope this helps

yeah i can boot it to the recovery mode where i can wipe cache etc. i've been trying to put zip files on my sd card and having it restore from there but it hasn't worked. i've tried the adb stuff but my phone isn't recognized by my computer when plugged into usb. and i didn't dl clockworkmod before i did all this. basically i did it the least smart way lol. can i use just the sd card?

did it work ?

i am going to assume that it worked, because if it did not, you would be asking questions

So even though you have not thanked me for helping you un-brick your phone - your welcome

FYI not responding to my question, not leaving any feedback on the stuff I made, and not giving any thanks, is not a good way to encourage developers to work on this phone

It does not seem like any one is interested in this phone, so I am going to halt working on the Cyanogen Mod ROM I am working on

I just wanted to say that I just bought this phone today to replace my contract HTC with broken glass ($200 to fix!) and I have to say it's a great deal for the price ($75 at BB). I already have a large Android tablet, so I don't need a super-duper giant phone. Anyway, I thank you for the work you've already put into this and will definitely appreciate anything else you do. CM would be awesome!
