I have been having issues lately with a popup that keeps telling me that their is an android update for my samsung galaxy centura straight talk phone. Only problem is every time I tried to install it, it failed to install and showed an android guy on his back. After calling the worthless tech support at straight talk who barely can speak English I had them tell me that maybe my phone doesn't have an update available, it said why is it telling me one is available? I told them thanks for wasting my time and not helping me what so ever!
My solution was to go to setting and in setting select the option to reset my phone to manufactures setting, of course back up your google contacts first but reset your phone. As soon as I did I got the android system update message, I selected install and it finally worked! Thought I would post this for anyone who tried straight talk tech support and got zero help. Hopefully this helps someone!
