3G Speedtests with HTC Incredible

Is this normal or should I call verizon. With 3G I am getting this:

Download 127kps
Upload 18kps


I was trying to watch youtube and it was horrible.

Not sure if I should use a different site however.

I think I was reading that other people were having this problem and needed to call VZW customer service to have them do some tweaking on their end. Will give them a call tomorrow.

*228 #2 updates the PRL (Prefered roaming list (I think)). It updates the roaming by basically sending your phone the towers that are to be roamed on.

Shouldn't be. Maybe you just get crappy 3g reception where you are.

So hard to rely solely on internet speed tests but for what it's worth in good coverage it should be around ~1000 dn ~500 up

I will have to run a test again tomorrow. My upload speed seemed lousy but dl was good. Its charging right now. Gonna need that extended life battery I guess.

I was at 1.5 mb down and .50kb up in a concrete building. This thing is alot faster then the Eris in terms of both 3G and Wifi

Excellent! On top of these great speeds the Inc is a terror on the internet I honestly can't believe how fast it is.
