How much will the LG G Watch cost?

I'm going to guess $199.

It seems like LG went minimalistic on this and didn't pack in a camera or other (what I consider unneccessary) bells and whistles. It definitely looks plastic which keeps it more thin and affordable, too.

Plus they're competing with the Galaxy Gears and Fitbits of the world... I'm going to say $199 but that might be a little low for a launch price.

My guess is should be between $199-$249, maybe intro at $249 and then drop it to $199. $99-$149 is a price range for Pebble/Metawatch like smartwatches. Moto 360 will be more expensive for sure (I'm guessing at least $299) because they put too much emphasis on "quality leather" and "quality brushed aluminum", etc. I can see where they are going with that. LG G looks more basic, thin plastic profile, kind of a cheap looking watch band (hopefully it's replaceable with a metal one). I hope they will price it right!

I dunno... one of the big complaints I heard from folks about the Galaxy Gear was the price. They MIGHT price it lower to compete

I posted this over in the Moto 360 forum but in case anyone missed it, it's looking like the starting price point for the LG G is $300 US.

That's saying that even though the price was released in Europe, expect the US price to be closer to $200. That's getting a bit more reasonable.
