Are there any developers online working on getting this thing rooted? Im currently an eris user and it took forever to get that thing rooted. And Im loving it for now, but im aware of its current limitations. But since I been rooted, I pretty much have an irish twin of the incredible. live wallpapers with sense, and all of the 2.1 features. Id be totally psyched about purchasing an incredible (would have to be bought at full price though), rooting it and using cyanogen mods on it. What a glorious day that would be, when that its possible. Right now I'm not too concerned with the incredible just yet. I'm not frustrated enough with my rooted eris to want to forsake it for its replacement. Have fun with your new devices though people.

There's a sticky in this very forum where they discuss root for the Incredible. It basically looks like they're waiting for the Desire to be rooted then porting that to the Incredible.

Actually, just now setting foot in the incredible forums for the first time. been hanging out in the eris forums. Never really stepped outside. Nice To meet you guys! ;-)
