What are my options???

So I got my Incredible yesterday and it had two small pieces of lint (or dust) under the glass, above the screen. When there is a lighter background on the phone, you can see it and it's annoying. Other than that, the phone is fantastic!

So in short, Verizon has already shipped me a new phone. It will be here on Monday, but they shipped it to my condo instead of my work! I work M-F so I will never be there to sign for it, and I don't know if I want it sitting on my doorstep.

What are my options? Will FedEx reroute it for me? If not, the only option I can think of is to leave a note on the door and let them deliver it. Once I see it was delivered, I can leave work to grab it and then go back to work. I work close to my home, so not a big problem there.

If I do that, where is that official FedEx form that I need to sign? I know it was posted at some point in another thread. Any help? Thanks!

I think if you called FedEx they could probably answer those questions.

They wont leave it for you on your doorstep if you have to sign for it. You can call and have them hold it and pick it up. If your not there, I think for 3 attempts of them getting you to sign, you have to pick it up anyways.

That depends on the type of signature required. If it says indirect signature required on your tracking info, you can leave a signed note.

You can ask them to hold it at the Fedex facility as soon as you get an exception. On the Fedex website, register for notification via email or SMS so you know when delivery failed. As soon as this happens, you can call them with your tracking number (that way you don't have to drive home) and ask them to hold it at the facility. Usually items from the days delivery will be available by 7pm (sometimes 6:30), so you can pick it up safely that same evening.
