When you wipe data and cache and the phone boots back up, the Market might restore your apps. That has happened for me sometimes after wiping and re-activating other devices with Android 2.0 and up. That might make some of the process a little less painful on your new Incred, which I'm sure you've spent much time customizing already
UADUDE, I don't have any contacts in gmail, all the addresses are from emails that I've sent in the past that get cached. And I'd like to maintain them in gmail so the autocomplete remains.
Yeah, GMAIL has that annoying habit of saving every single email address you have ever typed in - as contacts. Go to your inbox and click contacts, and you can clean up the ones you don't use too often.
