Hi guys. Just got the Droid Incredible today, and it's my first smartphone. I put my 16GB Micro SDHC card into the slot, but it doesn't seem to want to read it. The format option is grayed out, and when I synced it to my computer it came up with an error if I tried to open the F: drive. When I put the Micro SDHC into the adapter and put it in the Micro SD slot on my PC, nothing happens.

I've never had to use one of these before. I figured I would just have to put it in and it would work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Make sure the card is in all the way. I put my 16 gb card in (at least i thought it was) and then saw that the phone didn't recognize it. I pulled it out and then pushed it back in, this time it worked and the phone recognizes the memory. I didn't format or anything. Verizon rep said it would be fine just popping it in. Also on a side note, some apps that worked on my Mot Droid didn't work on my DI until i got the card and downloaded the app again. Working fine.
Great phone other than battery issue.

Peace, Out!

So, here's where I stand. I plugged my phone (via the USB cable) to my computer with the 2GB card Verizon sent inserted...the computer read both the phone (G drive) and the card (F drive). The SD Formatter recommended recognizes both drives as well.

But when I had the 16GB card I bought inserted, the computer only reads the phone (G drive). (The SD Formatter only sees the G drive as well.) When I click on the F drive in My Computer, it says "Please insert...".

I'm beginning to wonder if I have a defective card. I've taken it out, put it back in, rebooted, etc, and nothing. I might try calling Verizon tech support tomorrow. If that doesn't work, I'll contact Newegg about getting a new one.

Thanks for your help.
